The Boo season is over. The tattoos are gone, the candy corn, sugar high has faded away and under the reciprocal forget rule, our costumes and ghoulish behavior will forever go unmentioned by friends (maybe).

So, we say: Forget the regrets, the negativity. Let's put a little positive thinking into the next 30 days. Let's make November Yesvember. We'll do our part, if you'll do yours.

Mug & Cocktail Club members will get $10 off every food purchase on Mondays, the 2nd and the 16th. Wine Clubbers get the same on Mondays, the 9th and 23rd.

Ski & Winter Sports Night Returns to Thursdays

For downhillers, nordics, those who like to frolic in the freezing and those who just like to have fun and win prizes, Thursday night in The Pub will again be the place to be for The Landings's Ski & Winter Sports Night.

Back by self-appointment, The yodeling Lord of The Boards Chris Shea will host each Thursday's festivities, including a multi-prize raffle and Captain Dusty's brain-busting trivia contest. All will commence at 8:45 p.m. or there-abouts.

This season East Coast Alpine of Danvers will sponsor a $25 gift certificate each week plus a ski or snowboard tune up.

And in addition, every purchase of a pair of skis also gets a $25 dinner gift certificate at The Landing (either Manchester or Marblehead). Seems like a simple decision where to buy skis and equipment for le famillle, n'est pas.

Time For Landing Club Renewals

Time to reup 2010 club memberships. As always, memberships are limited. So...

Consider: For $60, you can join The Landing's Cocktail, Mug or Wine Club for a full year of bennies.

Club members always get larger servings of their choice beverage and a 'members only' $10 food credit twice a month for a full year.

Sign up online and we'll send a membership gift card in your name. (And don't forget to renew your own club membership at the same time.)

For one Franklin ($100), you can join The Landing Dinner Club and get a $20 entree every month of the year.

Celtic Music Session New Winter Hours

Our Celtic Music Sessions with Michael O'Leary and Bob & Jean Strom will shift to winters hours - 5 to 8 p.m. - starting this month. There will also be three Sunday sessions in November on the 1st, 15th and 29th.

If you haven't sat in, you should. These small audience sessions in the Samuel Lee room are memorable. Come by. See and hear for yourself.

Catering-by-the-Sea Special Offer

The party season is upon us. So, make The Landing's Catering-by-the-Sea your primary resource for any party, gathering, event - big or small, here, there or any place else.

Help Expand Thankful Tuesday

In an effort to do more and help more, The Landing will donate the use of the facility and make a cash contribution equal to 20 per cent of all food and beverage purchases by a sponsoring organization's guests that evening.

The charity can have a guest speaker, charge admission, have a raffle, hold an auction, or just host a nice dinner. The Thankful Tuesday program is open to any registered, non-profit organization.

Celebrate 5th Monday

All Loyalty Club members (this means you) get $10 off on any food purchase.

By tradition, the Cocktail and Mug clubbies meet for supper on the first and third Mondays of each month. The Wine Club people do the same on the second and fourth Mondays. But then, four times this year, there is a fifth Monday in the month and everyone is welcome.

If you're not a Loyalty Club member for shame, but no matter, you can sign up on the spot.
