The Acoustic Tavern Returns - Saturday, the 12th and every subsequent Saturday for the entire Summer. On Saturday Nights, The Pub becomes The Acoustic Tavern - the North Shore's most fun place to see and hear the best new talent in the area. (If you think you're one the best new talents, contact Chris Shea or Chris Langathianos at The Landing for a possible gig.)
|

Celtic Summer Sessions will be on Sundays, the 6th and 20th

As always, Wednesday is Trivia Night and
Thursdays belongs to The Landing's own Thursday Night Golf and Bike

blues. |

LANDING IDOL SERIES CONTINUES
The Landing Idol Series continues - Every Friday Good talent or bad, the hit series continues in The Pub, starting at 9 p.m. Descriptions won't do so see and hear for yourself. It's fun for the watchers and the doers, so both say. |

June Returns For Fun Encore Trues & Untrues Abound Including Word of The Erstwhiles
It is true that rumors are more prevalent
in small towns than big cities. Fact is: big city rumor mills are
unionized and output is more controlled. It is untrue
that to raise revenue, Massachusetts will begin licensing all freelance
rumor mongers, who must also fail an annual lie detector test to remain
licensed. (As always, politicians would be exempt from... whatever.) It
is true that unlike the month before and after, May stayed for
31 days and had to be physically removed from the calendar.
It is untrue the M month demanded more
days, claiming June was a four letter word and therefore should be
punitively allocated even fewer days than February. May be or
not, we welcome June, a fine month for fun. To (half) wit...

June Dinner Specials
It is true on Tuesdays,
Wednesdays and Thursdays, we will offer Baked
Scrod, Tenderloin Tips or Chicken Marsala for $13. Plus, chowder, soup
or salad for $1 more and a dessert special for an additional $1.

offer our All You Can Eat Fish Fry for $14 and on Saturdays,
you can enjoy our Prime Rib Special for $16. |
June 4th - Manchester-Essex Graduation
Our congratulations to the Class of 2010, the first to
graduate from our new high school. Make your reservations early for a
pre or post celebration and we'll make sure there's a best wishes and a

June 9th - Chris Shea To Be Honored
It
is true that Chris Shea, a.k.a. His Lordship, faithful
proprietor of The Landing At Seven Central, will be honored as
Manchester Business Person Of The Year by the Cape Ann Chamber of
Commerce on Wednesday, June 9th. There will be a cocktail reception and
ceremony at 5 p.m. in the Samuel Lee Room. Stop by and add an 'atta boy'
of your own to one of our own. It is untrue that there
were requests for a recount. |
| June 12th
- Erstwhiles Join The Acoustic Tavern
It is true that The
Erstwhiles, featuring Arthur McGoen, Jen Strom of our own Celtic
Session's singing Strom family and His Lordship will appear in The Pub
about 9 p.m. as part of The Landing's popular Acoustical Tavern series. There
will be a second Acoustical Tavern session in The Pub on Saturday, the
26th.
It is untrue (or at
least unconfirmed) that The Erstwhiles have recently returned from
Barbados where they recorded their second album.

Luncheon
Special Delivery
Call ahead and we'll prepare a sandwich, soda, chips and a pickle
to go, all for $10. (Special deliveries to Cleveland are extra.)
|
Final Thought (and ponderable)
If it is true that Singing Beach
is so named because the sand sings, then is it also true that on certain
days the high-pitched sand at the Eagle Head end can only be heard by
dogs and Cambrdige day-trippers. Hmmmm...
Take care,
be well and stop by.
Chris Shea with Steve Ryan
If you
have suggestions or comments about this, that or the other thing, please
let us know. Useful ideas that can help us always provide you with a
memorable dining experience at The Landing are always worth a Thank You
and a $25 dinner gift certificate.
Sincerely,
Chris Shea M. P and F. P
