February Made Me Shiver
But shivering is way better than shoveling and did you know it's a mere 46 days until St. Patrick's Day. Doesn't seem possible. Is it all downhill from here? Could we be over the hump? Is Spring just around the corner? Let's hope. Truth be told, while January had only MLK, February represents a huge improvement with Groundhog Day, Super Sunday, Valentines Day, Presidents Day, Le Grand Wine Tasting, A Taco Eating Contest and Sadie Hawkins Day (Doug's 14th Birthday). Better yet, February marks the grand opening of "The Channel Pub" at The Landing. It's a full service 11 seat bar overlooking the deck and the channel with giant screen TV's, copper top tables and a whole new casual feel. God willing, and if The Channel don't rise we'll be opening on February 11th to the inimitable tunes of Manchester's own "Just Like Newman."

Super Bowl Party
Patriots vs Giants Sunday the 6th. $25 gets you a reserved seat, a prime rib dinner at halftime and a chance to win some "just for entertainment purposes" greenbacks.

Valentine's Day
Tuesday the 14th. $25 gets you a Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon while your better half could enjoy the Pan Seared Scallops, The Seafood Risotto or the Prime Rib of Beef. Treat her (him) to a very special dinner. You can make reservations online at thelandingat7central.com.

Presidents Day
On the 20th precedes our First Annual Taco Eating Contest on the 21st!
Presently the record for consumption of our $2.50 sumptuous tacos is 14. Could the record be broken? The winner gets all his (her) tacos paid for and a $50 gift certificate to boot. Get it?

Sadie Hawkins Day
Is on February 29th. And it's Doug's, our convivial master of mixology's 14th Birthday. And we're having a grand old party for him - A Le Grand Wine Tasting Party that is. For $10 you can sample up to 30 wines and enjoy some elegant hors d'oeuvres presented by executive chef, Jeff Miller. Call for reservations or just show up.
Doug might even grace us with his presence.

Saturday, February 11th: Just Like Newman hopes to christen the new Channel Pub at 9:00pm. Stay tuned for updates!
Saturday, February 25th: Charlie Dawson back by popular demand 9:00pm.
Sunday, February 5th: The Celtic Session with Michael O'Leary, Jen and Bob Strom with an early start time of 4:00 P.M. due to the Super Bowl.
Sunday, February 19th: Celtic Session at it's regular time of 5:00 P.M.
Sunday, February 12th and 26th: Janice and Will's Open Mic starting at 7:00.

Sunday Brunch: Every Sunday 11:30 - 2:00 featuring Eggs Benedict, Lobster Eggs Benedict, Omelettes, Deluxe French Toast, and Seafood En Croute along with our regular menu.
Friday Fish Fry: All you can eat Haddock, Fries and cole slaw for $15.
Prime Rib Saturday: While it lasts - thick cut $17.

After Thought
Don't forget to watch for the Grand Opening of The Channel Pub. Depending on what the groundhog sees on Thursday we could be open by the 11th. If not soon thereafter.
