Even though TB12, a.k.a. Tom (semi) Terrific and The Patriots now can't seem to win the Big Ones and Tiger continues to have trouble driving straight, it's still the joyous season, a time to share good cheer with family, neighbors and friends.

Open For Lunch, 12th - 24th
Because shopping is sometimes hungry work and holiday celebrations always require a venue, we will open for lunch every day at 11:45 a.m. from Saturday, the 12th through Saturday, the 24th.
Dinner Special Continue
Tuesdays and Thursdays, Baked Scrod, Tenderloin Tips or Chicken Marsala for $13. Plus, chowder, soup or salad for $1 more and a dessert special for an additional $1. On Wednesdays, half-price entrees in the dining room and an Fridays, enjoy our All You Can Eat Fish Fry for $14.
Super Saturday Special
In the spirit of giving and getting, every Saturday in December, we'll give you our Prime Rib Special for $16 and a second entree at half-price which means you can get his and her Prime Ribs - almost Adam and Eve size - for $24.
Super Saturday Extras
And because Saturday is Saturday after all and it is the season, from 7 to 9 we'll have a Seafood Vegetable Alfredo Special for $11 and from 9 to 10, Nachos Grande for $5.
At 10, we'll raffle off dinner for two for free plus an assortment of other suitable gifts worth giving, including a stylish Landing golf shirt and sweatshirt. Cape Ann C of C Gathering - Wednesday, 2nd
Wednesday (tonight), the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce will have a Christmas reception in the Lee Room from 5 to 7 p.m. The C of C's Lucky Nine Raffle drawing will be at 6 p.m.

Pancake Breakfast - Saturday, the 5th
The Annual Manchester Christmas By-the-Sea weekend starts with our pancake breakfast on Saturday, the 5th, from 8 to 10 a.m. The proceeds go to The Manchester Mothers Club. It's the perfect way to start a winter weekend and help a good cause.
Tree Lighting - Sunday, the 6th
Come by for the Christmas Tree Lighting on the Green (across the street) at 4 p.m. and stay for the Celtic Session at 5 p.m.
Solstice Singers - Friday, the 18th
The Cape Ann Christmas Solstice Singers will offer a special performance in the Samuel Lee Room, staring at 6 p.m. All are welcome.
Customer Appreciation - Monday, the 21st
Good cheer will abound and there will be a terrific complimentary buffet for all Loyalty Club members, staring at 6 p.m.
By special request - from his ownself or a paid requester somewhere - His Lordship and selected guests will perform a special rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas. As always, the evening will be memorable.
Christmas Closing - Thursday & Friday, the 24th, 25th
The Landing will close on Christmas Eve at 7 p.m. and will be closed all Christmas Day. We will reopen for lunch on Saturday, the 26th.
New Year's Eve - Something Very Special
The very last evening of the year at The Landing. Bring friends, relatives, even complete strangers who seem like they might be funsters. Particulars will be forthcoming. But for certain, the evening will start around 9 p.m. and continue into the next year. Call for reservations. THIS will be fun!
Other December Rememberables
Our Celtic Music Sessions with Michael O'Leary with Bob and Jen Strom will be in The Lee Room from 5 to 8 on Sundays, the 6th and 20th.
Janice & Will will host Open Mic Night on Sundays, the 13th and 27th. A gentle reminder: All young performers are welcome to 'stand and deliver' from 6 to 7. We'll indulge older warblers thereafter.
Final thought
If Tareq and Michaele just 'show up' for dinner - Martha would never approve - remember: they are waay not members of The Landing Loyalty Club and they probably won't recip invite you to guest appear on their reality show, so don't sport for dinner.
Even still, from all of us to them, you, yours and the world, best wishes for the holidays. We all deserve no less.
